Frequently asked questions

Is this a print or an actual 3D model?

A real three-dimensional terrain model — the ridges physically rise off the card. It's built from USGS 3DEP elevation data, the same survey data engineers use, with the road traced from OpenStreetMap data.

How accurate is the road?

Accurate to the switchback. If you've ridden US-129, you'll recognize specific corners — all 318 curves are there, following the real ridgeline.

Does it come ready to hang?

Yes. The terrain is mounted on a white card inside an 8×8-inch black shadow box that hangs on a wall or stands on a shelf — nothing else to buy or assemble.

How long until it ships?

Each piece is made to order and ships in 5–7 business days with tracking. It's packed carefully — the frame protects the terrain in transit.

Can you make my favorite road?

New roads are added one at a time — Cherohala Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Angeles Crest are next in line. Join the email list on the homepage to vote for which comes first.

What if it arrives damaged?

Contact me within 30 days and I'll send a replacement or a full refund. Every piece is checked by hand before it ships, and I stand behind each one.
